The Buddyrider® Bicycle Seat for dogs is a fun and safe way to take your dog along with you for a bike ride.
Unlike other dog carriers and dog bike seats (such as the traditional front-mounted bike basket for dogs, and rear-mounted dog seats) Buddyrider® is mounted over the center of the bike. This means that the additional weight has virtually no effect on handling.
For larger dog breeds a dog trailer works well, but for smaller dogs weighing up to 11.5kg, there’s no better option than the Buddyrider®.

About Us
Hi, I’m Garry; this is my wife Kathy and our buddy Truffle.
What we love most about living in NZ is exploring the great outdoors and seeing all that this beautiful country has to offer. We love to cycle and look forward to trips away in our caravan. It was during one of these trips that we discovered the need for BuddyRider.
We really wanted to take Truffle along with us on our bike rides, but couldn’t find a bike seat that was unobtrusive and safe for both me (the rider) and Truffle. As a (now recently retired) companion animal veterinarian of 46 year’s experience, safety and comfort for my best friend were my top priorities when it came to choosing a dog bike seat.
After a lot of research, I finally discovered BuddyRider dog bike seats and since then we’ve never looked back!
