Take your buddy along for the ride on a genuine BuddyRider® dog bike seat with Flex-Arm. Vet-approved and centre-mounted for a safe, balanced ride. Perfect for dogs between 2.75 and 11.5kg.
The Flex-Arm has two adjustable joints, giving you greater freedom to position your BuddyRider® basket within the bike frame or above and forward of the handlebars.
This makes it a great option for:
- Shorter-framed bikes
- Bikes with higher handlebars
- E-bikes where the battery affects seat-to-handlebar spacing
Your pedal pal will sit higher, giving you more room to pedal with straighter legs rather than having the basket push your knees out.
The Flex-Arm has become a popular choice for its improved riding position and added flexibility.
Dog fit:
- Weight: 2.75kg–11.34kg
- Length: up to 40cm (paws to just past tail base, seated)
- Width: up to 16cm side to side, seated
Bike fit:
- Suits shorter frames, higher handlebars and most e-bikes
- Aluminium or steel seat post only - NOT carbon fibre
- Many cycles now come with dropper seat posts. I have many customers (and myself) who have installed the Buddyrider receiver on a dropper seat post without issues. It must be bolted to the seat post above the cycle frame and NOT the dropper section.
- Standard bike with plenty of clearance? Our Regular Rigid Arm Combo may be all you need
