The Flex-Arm® gives you more flexibility when fitting your BuddyRider® to your bike. With two adjustable joints, the basket can be positioned within the bike frame or mounted higher and further forward, above the handlebars.
It’s ideal for shorter-framed bikes, bikes with higher handlebars and e-bikes where the battery affects the space between the seat and handlebars.
Your pedal pal also sits higher, giving you more room to pedal comfortably with straighter legs, rather than having the basket push your knees out.
And now you can choose the Flex-Arm when purchasing your BuddyRider®, rather than adding it later, making it a more affordable choice.
Key features:
- Required for shorter framed cycles, those with higher handlebars and some e-bikes where the battery located in the frame obstructs the standard rigid arm.
- Aluminium or steel seat post only - NOT carbon fibre.
- Many cycles now come with dropper seat posts. I have many customers (and myself) who have installed the Buddyrider receiver on a dropper seat post without issues. It must be bolted to the seat post above the cycle frame and NOT the dropper section.
- Adjustable in all directions for a precise, personalised fit.
- Compatible with both Series 1 and Series 2 BuddyRiders (Series 1 requires an additional Series Two Receiver, see note below).
Please note: The Flex-Arm® is an optional accessory for the Series 2 BuddyRider and fits the receiver that comes standard with Series 2.
If you're fitting the Flex-Arm® to an older Series 1 BuddyRider, you'll need to purchase a Series Two Receiver separately, as the original Series 1 receiver isn't compatible with the Flex-Arm®. This receiver is not included with your Flex-Arm® purchase.

Shipping & Returns
Orders are dispatched the next business day. Non-rural delivery can be overnight, depending on your local courier, while rural deliveries may take an additional 3 days.
If the Buddyrider does not fit your bike, you can return it within 10 days for a full refund, less the initial postage and transaction fees. The product must be unused and undamaged, and return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
